 Rebecca’s artistic journey began in the sunlit landscapes of Australia, where her love for nature and color first took root. When she immigrated to Canada in the late 1990s, she brought with her not only a suitcase, but the spirit and soul of her homeland—an influence that continues to breathe life into every piece she creates. 

 Working across multiple mediums—paper, acrylics, pastels, and oils—Rebecca explores the endless possibilities of artistic expression. Each material brings its own rhythm and personality, allowing her to move fluidly from the bold and vibrant to the soft and ethereal. This freedom of medium reflects the diversity of her inspiration, transforming each piece into a living story of texture, color, and feeling. 

 For Rebecca, art is more than an image—it is emotion made visible. Each painting invites the viewer to feel as much as to see. In “Gathering of Kangaroos,” the energy and unity of the wild are alive in motion, while “Lonely Car” captures the quiet resilience of a journey through a fire-scarred forest—a reflection of both loss and renewal. 

Her deep connection to nature is rooted in her childhood, where her mother often cared for abandoned wildlife—from tiny joeys to kingfisher chicks—instilling in Rebecca a lifelong reverence for the fragility and strength of living things.
